Our Story

Joy Sprouts was founded by two married (Not to each other!) classmates who were inspired to help shape the next generation for future success. Since then, we've grown into a joyful yet professional team of educational experts, game designers, game artists and engineers who are passionate about helping young children to develop.

A child's early years of development are very important, as this is when they learn the most about the world around them. Development during the early years lays the foundation of future learning success and helps to ensure that a child reaches their full potential.

The Joy Sprouts Approach

At Joy Sprouts, we believe that every child can achieve their full potential with a balanced approach to learning. We call this approach "Total Development". The foundation of our program is based on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Head Start Framework.

Our educational experts have carefully selected content from a variety of sources, including the Oxford University Press and the BBC. The content is divided into different modules. Our modules, which we call Sprouts, have been designed to help your child reach their full potential.

Total Development is focused on helping your child improve in 5 key areas:

  • Cognition and General Knowledge (Math, Science, and Social studies)
  • Language and Literacy
  • Learning Approaches
  • Social and Emotional Development
  • Physical Development and Health

The benefits of Total Development:

  • Intellectual - higher intellectual development and deeper understanding about themselves as individual
  • Social - more positive interaction with peers and prosocial behavior
  • Emotional - builds resiliency
  • Academic - better school performance in later years

Our vision is to empower parents to help their young children reach their full development by providing data driven educational technology that enables a better understanding of their child's unique learning behavior across key developmental areas.

Our interdisciplinary team includes experts in early childhood education, app development, marketing, operations and educational product development.
